Tig Cottage was an absolute gem! The value for money was spot on, and the rooms were cozy and comfortable. The location, surrounded by beautiful countryside, was perfect for a peaceful getaway. The staff, especially Vic, were attentive and quick to respond to any questions or concerns.
The only small improvement I would suggest is to enhance the breakfast options. Maybe adding some variety to the morning meal would make it even better.

We absolutely loved our stay at this hidden gem of a cottage. The location is peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside, perfect for relaxing walks and outdoor activities. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated with unique art pieces and has a cozy and tranquil feel. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the living room sofas were amazing to relax on. The outside decking area was a great spot to enjoy the sound of the nearby river. The communication with the owners was excellent, and they were quick to respond to any questions. It truly felt like a home away from home.
Hard to think of anything.

Our second visit to Tig Cottage in 3 months was amazing. the bedroom windows slightly open at night allowed us to fall asleep to the amazing sound of the river. the location in the middle of a Glen, a few miles from the seafront, was perfect. We loved the easy access to the main road and the short distance to major towns. the accommodation was extremely comfortable, with cozy sofas in the living room and wonderfully comfortable beds. the well-equipped kitchen and clean seating area outside were also great. the bedroom windows were perfect for stargazing, and the cottage served as a perfect base to explore SW Scotland. We can't wait to go back to Tig Cottage again!
Couldn't find any faults at all 😊.

My recent stay at Tig Cottage - A Rural, Quirky, Pet Friendly 2 Bedroom Cottage Near was absolutely delightful. The location in the lovely countryside provided a peaceful and tranquil setting, perfect for relaxation. The cottage itself is beautifully decorated with vibrant colors and comfortable furniture. It truly felt like a home away from home. I particularly enjoyed the outdoor decking area where I could soak up the sun and listen to the soothing sound of the river. The communication with the owners, Vic and Greg, was excellent and they were quick to respond to any questions. The cottage was also very clean and pet friendly, with no signs of pet hairs or odors. The value for money was great and the little gift of bubbles in the fridge was a nice touch. I highly recommend Tig Cottage for a restful and enjoyable getaway.
While my stay was mostly perfect, there were a few minor inconveniences. The downstairs bathroom facilities may not be suitable for everyone, especially during nighttime visits.

The location of the cottage is absolutely stunning, surrounded by a beautiful Glen and just a short distance from the sea. It provides easy access to the main road and is within a reasonable driving distance of major towns. the accommodation is extremely comfortable, with amazing sofas in the living room and comfortable beds in the bedrooms. the cottage also offers off-road parking and even has its own swimming pool.
The septic tank can sometimes be overpowering, especially during certain times of the year. the bathroom facilities downstairs may not be suitable for those who are less energetic or have a weaker constitution, particularly during nighttime visits.

A charming, secluded cottage with a tranquil bedroom and comfy bed. Loved the peacefulness and proximity to nature. Perfect for outdoor activities and close to amenities.
Oh, just a minor detail, the garden could be more secure for dogs. But who needs a safe garden anyway?

We had an amazing stay at Tig Cottage! The value for money was outstanding and the room itself was perfect - clean, comfortable, and with all the amenities we needed. The location was peaceful and surrounded by beautiful countryside, and the staff, particularly Vic and Greg, were friendly and responsive. We felt right at home in this quirky and pet-friendly cottage!
The only suggestion we have for improvement would be to expand the breakfast menu with more options.

The location of this cottage was absolutely stunning, surrounded by peaceful countryside. We enjoyed being able to go for walks right from the doorstep, exploring the beautiful surroundings. The cottage itself was beautifully decorated and had a tranquil and quiet feel to it. The bed was incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night's sleep. Another advantage was the proximity to shops and civilization, making it convenient for any necessary supplies.
One aspect that could be improved is the storage space in the bedrooms. Instead of a table, drawers or a shelf unit would have been more practical for storing clothes.
